You need to be 16 or older to hold an account. One account per person. Keep your sign-in details to yourself.
You keep ownership of everything you post. By posting, you give MAOK permission to show that content to the audience you chose, and nowhere else. Delete a post and we stop showing it.
Do not post content that:
MAOK introduces people; it does not vet them, supervise what happens next, or guarantee that anyone will respond. Use your judgement before meeting someone or sharing your address, exactly as you would elsewhere. Check a person's profile, keep arrangements in the app where you can, and meet in a public place where that is sensible.
If you are in danger or need urgent assistance, contact emergency services. MAOK is not monitored around the clock.
Anyone can create a community. Community owners and administrators set their own guidelines and can remove members or posts that break them. Creating a community makes you responsible for keeping it safe.
You can report a post, a member or a community. Where content breaks these terms we may remove it, and where behaviour puts people at risk we may suspend or close an account. We will tell you why, unless doing so would put someone at risk.
You can close your account at any time from Settings. Deactivating hides your profile and preserves your data; deleting removes your account and your content permanently.
How we handle your personal information — what is required, what is optional, and who can see it — is set out in the Privacy page.
