Just wrapped up an incredible week at Camp Quality's winter camp in the Blue Mountains. Watching the kids zip-line, laugh around the campfire, and simply be kids — away from hospitals and treatments — is something I'll never take for granted. Being a Companion volunteer is the most rewarding thing I've ever done.

We're looking for 12 enthusiastic Companion volunteers for our Spring Camp running 18–22 October in Victoria. Companions support children aged 5–13 living with cancer in a fun, safe environment. No medical experience needed — just a big heart!

Today our puppet team visited Westmead Children's Hospital and ran a session with eight amazing kids going through treatment. The smiles, the giggles, the way their eyes lit up when Camy the Camel made an appearance — pure magic.

Fundraiser helpers needed — Caps for a Cause, Sydney
Our annual Caps for a Cause fundraiser is on 8 November at Hyde Park and we need 8 volunteers to help with registration, merchandise, and cheering on participants. Every dollar raised goes directly to camp programs for kids with cancer.

Our school puppet program reached its 500th classroom visit this year! We spent the morning at St Mary's Primary helping 180 students understand what their classmates living with cancer go through. Building empathy early — that's how we change the world.
